The Central regional office is a division of ANCE-Togo in the region. The office is located at ANCE-Togo national head office based in Sokodé and employed resident members in Central region. The Regional office in Sokodé is composed of Regional Assembly; Regional Council and Regional Executive Secretariat.
The regional Assembly elect five (5) members of regional office to sit in Central regional council. Among these five members of regional office, include the president of regional council (PRC), the General Treasurer of regional council (GTRC), the general secretary of regional council (GSRC) and two other members. The regional council acts as ANCE-Togo regional steering committee and is in charge of working according to ANCE-Togo statutes or on the general assembly demand. A regional coordinator recruited by ANCE-Togo board of directors upon proposal of Executive Secretariat assumes the Regional Executive Secretariat.
ANCE-Togo regional office in central region implements many programs focused on advocacy with local authorities in central region to improve locals finance management system, for better economic governance and promoting transparency in public affairs management. The Regional office in Sokodé works also with the region civil society organizations (CSOs) to create synergistic actions to better work on the fight against corruption related issues. The capacity building workshops are frequently organized targeting public, private sectors and the CSOs on different thematic related to international instruments and good practices to fight corruption, transparency in public procurement, and the participation of citizen’s control on public action and citizen’s education

ANCE-Togo Regional office in Central region based at Sokodé raised awareness on August 27, 2019 targeting youth volunteers gathered by Togo National Volunteer Agency in the framework of Citizen’s volunteering engagement. This awareness activity aimed at strengthening the capacity of citizens on youth’s participation to fight against corruption and related offences.
The head of Central regional voluntary agency Mr. Séidou Abdlatif BOANE in his welcome message addressed a vibrant gratitude to ANCE-Togo for its presence in his region through this important initiative to raise youths’ awareness on their engagement role to fight and report corruption case to ANCE-Togo Advocacy and Legal advice Centre (ALAC) based at the central region in Sokodé.
The regional coordinator of ANCE-Togo regional office at the region Mr. Samiroudine OURO SAMA in his communication developed many themes mainly ANCE-Togo actions, the role of ALAC involving citizens’ to fight against corruption and related offences and the importance of awareness for voluntary and free membership to ANCE-Togo.
These differents communications highlighting youths’ commitment to fight against corruption raised question-answers to the regional team for better understanding. The regional coordinator and his team provided clear and concise answers to more than 250 youths in dire need to acquire information on these relevant issues for their entire commitment. The coordinator geared these participants to report firmly any relevant corruption and offences case to ANCE-Togo regional office in central region and encourage them to be active on Citizens’ participation to public action.
During this awareness session, more than 150 youths were enrolled as new members to ANCE-Togo central region office.
This activity was carried out thanks to European union and Transparency International financial support through French ministry of Europe and foreign affairs.

The Advocacy & Legal Advice Centre (ALAC) is located in every ANCE-Togo regional offices. It provids free legal advice and assistance to persons who are victims or witnesses corruption acts.
The regional office of ANCE-Togo in central region develops anti-corruption advocacy strategies to consolidate the rule of law and eradicate corruption in all its forms in the region. The central region ALAC provides legal advice and assistance to victims of corruption or people who witness corruption acts and contribute to strengthen citizen’s capacity against corruption related issues. The corruption analysis phenomenon is based on citizen real experiences in Central region. The Central regional office is composed of expert lawyers who provide free legal advice to help plaintiff pursue their complaints; ensure that a formal complaint will be received by the law enforcement agencies for further action.
